Eugene Domingo and Edgar Allan Guzman in Bona

One of the country’s top comediennes, Eugene was recognized for her acting in Bona, where she played the role originally portrayed by Nora Aunor in the movie version. Former Mr. Pogi Edgar Allan’s portrayal of Gardo, Bona’s narcissistic showbiz idol, also earned him the nods of the jury.

Aiza Seguerra was Best Actress in a Featured Role for her work in Rock of Ages, while Lisa Macuja was Best Classical Dancer for the Swan Series and was also hailed as Entertainer of the Year.

Sarah Geronimo beat Aiza and Anne Curtis for the Best Female Major Concert award for her 24/SG concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, while Jed Madela won the male counterpart of the award for his Beyond Expectations concert at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
