Lauren Young’s transfer to GMA-7 now confirmed

Now, it’s official. Lauren Young is now indeed with GMA-7.

Lauren attended the GMA-7 network trade launch on Wednesday where she looked so pretty wearing a blue Pepsi Herrera dress.

Kapuso actress Maxene Magalona even welcomed Lauren to GMA-7 through a Twitter post that went with a photo (see above) showing the two of them with Maxene’s sister Saab Magalona at the trade launch.

Immediately after that, Lauren herself posted messages on her official Twitter account that confirms her transfer to the Kapuso Network.

“Change is good, & sometimes change is for the better. Went to my first event for GMA & everyone was so nice. Can’t wait to start working!” she posted.

She, however, remained grateful to ABS-CBN’s management arm Star Magic for taking care of her while she was with ABS-CBN.

“I’ll always be grateful to Star Magic for helping me discover my passion & supporting and guiding me through my career.”

She is now being managed by Pia Magalona, mother of her real life boyfriend Elmo Magalona.

And then the JulieElmos get sad.

Fans of the tandem of Elmo with Julie Anne San Jose were somewhat disappointed due to rumors that Elmo will soon be paired with Lauren, thus, the JulieElmo tandem will be no more.

Recently, photos of Julie Anne and Alden Richards have come out, proof that the network is indeed experimenting on a new onscreen partner for the singer actress.

The JulieElmos, however, have expected that to happen as early as the rumors about Lauren’s transfer have surfaced. But still, they couldn’t help but feel sad. After all, they have been one of the most supportive celebrity fans around.
