A magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit Sultan Kudarat on early morning of Sunday, November 25, 2012.
According to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake struck at exactly 4:28:49 AM. The epicenter was traced 48 kilometers (km) southwest of Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.
It was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 612 km.
According to the Phivolcs bulletin, no damage is expected nor aftershocks are likely to occur.
