Nicholas Hoult fights the battle of his life in “Jack The Giant Slayer” (Trailer)

A new two-minute and thirty-three-second trailer has been released by Warner Bros. for the upcoming action-fantasy film Jack The Giant Slayer.

Directed by Bryan Singer, the movie stars Nicholas Hoult as Jack, Stanley Tucci as Lord Roderick, Ewan McGregor as Elmont, and Eleanor Tomlinson as Princess Isabelle.

The movie is a modern fairy tale about a young farmer who leads an expedition to rescue a kidnapped princess. In the process of doing so, the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened.

Synopsis (from video’s YouTube description):

An ancient war is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants.

Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult), into the battle of his life to stop them. Fighting for a kingdom and its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend... and gets the chance to become a legend himself.
