Mister Lebanon Ali Hammoud was declared the winner of Mister International 2012 in the pageant night held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 24.
He bested 39 other good looking contestants from around the world to succeed Brazil’s Cesar Curti who was present to pass on the title.
He has won two special awards – Best Body which was awarded to him on the pageant night, and Most Handsome which was given out days before the event.
1st runner-up was Ron Teh of Singapore; 2nd runner-up went to Marko Sobot of Slovenia; 3rd runner-up was Ricardo Magryino of Brazil; and 4th runner-up was Jan Haraslin of Slovak Republic.
Part of the Top 10 were France, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Turkey. Those who became part of the Top 16 were China, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia, Thailand and Venezuela.
Other special awards given out during the pageant night include Mister Congeniality which went to the host country’s contestant, Piyanat Sujarit (Thailand); Mister Photogenic which was awarded to Francesco Basile (Italy); and Best in National Costume which was won by Do Ba Dat (Vietnam).
Prior to the final event, two other special awards were given out aside from Most Handsome. Thailand’s Favorite (People’s Choice) award went to Ron Teh (Singapore) while the Most Stylish award was given to Luka Raco (Serbia).
