Miss Earth 2012 – Czech Republic wins!

Miss Czech Republic Tereza Fajksová was crowned Miss Earth 2012 on November 24 in the pageant night held at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines.

Miss Earth 2012 winner Czech Republic with Philippines (Air), Brazil (Fire) and Venezuela (Water)

Tereza bested 84 other beautiful girls from around the world. She was crowned by last year’s winner Olga Alava of Ecuador.

Miss Earth Fire was Miss Brazil Camila Brant, Miss Earth Water was Miss Venezuela Osmariel Villalobos, and Miss Earth Air was Miss Philippines Stephany Stefanowitz.

The coronation night was hosted by Marc Nelson, former Miss Earth Sandra Seifert, and former Miss Earth Fire Ginger Conejero.

Also making it to the Top 8 were South Africa, Nepal, Russia, and USA.

Part of the Top 16 were Germany, Korea, Italy, Mexico, Scotland, Costa Rica, Poland, Japan.

Special Awards:

Miss Earth Photogenic – Osmariel Villalobos (Venezuela)
Best in National Costume – Waratthaya Wongchayaporn (Korea)
Miss Congeniality – Prachi Mishra (India)
