Bong considers playing Eduardo Manalo as a challenge, and said that it won’t be the action star that people will see in him in the said movie. “Isang Ka Eduardo ang makikita nila (sa akin) sa Sugo,” he said. “Pag-aaralan natin ‘yong galaw niya, pananalita niya, mannerisms niya. Malaking hamon ito.”
Bong’s wife Congresswoman Lani Mercado will also be in the cast as well as Snooky Serna.
And will they pair the former young sweethearts Albert and Snooky?
Ang Sugo will be directed by Tikoy Aguiluz from the script written by Arlyn dela Cruz.
