Modesto Taran sang Bee Gees/Michael Bolton’s To Love Somebody during the Top 10 performance night of The X Factor Philippines. The theme of the performances was “rock.”
Modesto Taran belongs to the Over 25s category being mentored by Pilita Corales. He sang with a choir like he did in his previous performance, and we wonder what would have happened if he performed To Love Somebody without.
Judge Martin Nievera hated the fact that Modesto is not on his team, and said that the contestant did a great follow-up to his powerful performance last week. Gary Valenciano noticed that Modesto’s confidence has improved a lot and the man knows how to control his voice very well. Charice commented that Modesto can sing any song, even if he was given Call Me Maybe.
X Factor surprised Modesto by bring his wife and youngest son to the venue and it was a touching scene when the three were reunited on stage. Are they trying to hype up Modesto for the votes, or is it just us?
