Julia Montes will turn 18 on March 19 and everything about her fairy tale-inspired debut is set. She has just one wish, though, and that is to see and dance with her German father on that important day of her life.
“Ultimate wish na sana kasama ang dad ko,” Julia said, and added that if he wouldn’t be there on her 18th birthday, it would remain her wish until it happens.
Quite sad, no? Her father left when she was a baby, leaving her and her mom Gemma (who’s deaf, btw) to live on their own. Good thing her maternal grandmother was there (and still is) to help them.
But we know she was brought up well because she has no hatred for her dad.
Her debut is like one big showbiz event with today’s most popular stars taking part in the 18 Roses and 18 Treasures. Enchong Dee, who was romantically linked to her last year, was nowhere in the list but Julia said that’s because the Ina Kapatid Anak actor has work for that day.
“Invited siya pero bago pa na-plano itong party mayroon na siyang naunang schedule,” Julia clarified.
Meanwhile, she would be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand after her debut as a gift to herself. She will bring along her family for a short vacation.
“Magpupunta kami sa Bangkok. First time ko sa Bangkok. Excited kami picture-picture, mga four to five days kami doon,” she said.
