Piolo Pascual plays a captive of a cruel circus in Perya, one of the short films produced by Benchingko Films for Bench’s 25th anniversary celebration.
Perya goes to show that love will conquer even the hardest adversaries that may come our way. Directed by Topel Lee from the script written by Marci Reyes, the short film also stars Sue Prado and a lot of actors playing circus freaks.
Bench has released the other short films in installments online. 25 Bens, which starred Ben Chan himself, was the first that came out. It was followed by the Lovi Poe-starred Kama, then Horsepower topbilled by Coco Martin, and most recently Kontrabida 101 starred by Bella Flores was released online.
