Watch Coco Martin in “Horsepower” (Benchingko Films)

Coco Martin plays the role of a jeepney driver in Horsepower, one of the short films produced by Benchingko Films for Bench’s 25th anniversary.

Named Rogelio, he is desperate in winning the race against the other drivers and in turn, win the horse trophy which he can proudly attach on the hood of his jeep.

But then just as he is already leading, something happened to his jeepney that will make him lose the race. Little did he know that it was a blessing in disguise. In the process, he realizes that there are more important things in his life than racing and prized horses.

Borgy Torre directed the short film written by Marci Reyes and Paolo Salcedo.
