Muling Buksan Ang Puso has been capturing the hearts of televiewers since it premiered on Monday, July 8, 2013. It was despite the fact that the lead cast - Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil and Julia Montes - hasn’t appeared on the series yet.
The presence alone of versatile actress like Cherie Gil, Agot Isidro and Susan Roces are enough to make viewers glued, especially on Susan’s intense portrayal of her character Doña Adelina Beltran.
“I’ve waited so long for this role. I really want a change in the characters that I portray,” Susan, the Queen of Philippine Movies, was quoted as saying. “This time, I’m not the good and the poor one. Adelina is a strong character. In real life, Adelina’s personality is not surprising because, basically, all of us have two faces–the good side and the bad side. There are events in our lives that make us who we are now.”
