Hidoyuki “Yuki” Ito, a Filipino-Japanese, sang James Brown’s It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World which captured the interest of coaches Sarah and Lea Salonga.

According to Sarah, who was the first to turn her chair: “Sobra mo ‘kong na-capture, e. Pwedeng-pwede kang pangbato sa international, ‘yung quality ng voice mo, very class.” Sarah even joked, “Alam na alam mo siguro ang “man’s world” no?” which solicited laughter from the other coaches and the live audience.

“Kahit boses lang, ulam ka na,” commented Lea. “Wala nang kailangang kanin na pampapuno ng t’yan. Napupuno na ako sa ‘yo. Galing-galing mo.”

Yuki, who revealed that he also joins gay beauty contests, chose Sarah but only after he shared that he admires Lea a lot.

“Sobra kong love si Ms. Lea, as in. Sobra ko s’yang ina-idolize. Alam ko madami na s’yang napatunayan. Love na love kita Ms. Lea and I admire you,” Yuki said before revealing his choice. “And I’m sorry I’ll choose Sarah.”

Sarah now has a total of eight members in her team. Aside from Yuki, she also has Junji Arias, Eva delos Santos, Michaellen Temporada, Morissette Amon, Hans Dimayuga, Kat Castro and Gab Ramos.
