Claudine Barretto hosted a party last Saturday for the ninth birthday of Sabina, her adopted daughter with Raymart Santiago. Not a single Santiago, however, showed up at the party.
The actress invited members of the press to the event. It was the first time that she granted a live interview after the controversies involving the Barrettos and her separation with Raymart.
Claudine confirmed that the Home Sweet Home actor is not living in their conjugal house anymore. She even told GMA News that she doesn’t know where he has been staying the past few months.
She also said that Raymart knew of Sabina’s birthday party but did not show up. She even said no when asked if the actor sent gifts or flowers.
Claudine, however, included “Papa” in the birthday cake, that would make one think it was given by the celebrant’s mom and dad.
“Gusto ko pa rin maramdaman ng anak ko na mahal s’ya dahil alam kong mahal naman talaga s'ya ng papa n’ya,” Claudine explained.
When asked when she and the kids last saw Raymart, she said: “Pumupunta-punta s’ya sa bahay a few weeks ago till hindi maganda ‘yung kinalabasan.”
She also mentioned about a video during the interview, although she didn’t want to say what’s it about.
“Yes, there was a video. He [Raymart] videotaped me and my children,” she said.
When asked what’s in the video, she just said that if ever it comes out, it would have come from Raymart’s camp.
“’Pag lumabas sa kanila lang nanggaling ‘yon,” she said, then added, “and it traumatized me and my children.”
Raymart, whose Home Sweet Home series comes to an end soon, has yet to comment about the video and his no-show at his daughter’s birthday party.
Meanwhile, Claudine also confirmed about her two comeback movies during the party. One will be produced by Viva Films, and the other one will be a co-production between Viva and Star Cinema.
