Angel Locsin wins Best Actress; ‘El Presidente’ big winner at 2013 FAMAS Awards

El Presidente was a big winner at the 61st Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards (2013) which was held Sunday night, April 21, 2013, at the AFP Theater in Quezon City. The Mark Meily film took home 12 awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for ER Ejercito and Best Supporting Actor for Cesar Montano.

Angel Locsin got the Best Actress award for her role in the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry One More Try. She also won the same award at the Star Awards for Movies last month. Will she get a grand slam this year? Let’s just wait for Luna and Gawad Urian.
