Shaina Magdayao will be joining the cast of the top-rating series Juan Dela Cruz.
The Kapamilya actress made the revelation on Sunday during her live guesting in the showbiz-oriented talk show, The Buzz.
Her stint in the action-fantasy series will be her second time to work with the show’s lead star Coco Martin. They have already worked together in the 2010 movie Sa ‘Yo Lamang.
“Sobrang exciting,” she said with regards to working with Coco again. “Every time magkikita kaming dalawa, tatanungin niya sa akin, ‘Kailan tayo magtatrabaho?’ Sinasabi ko ‘Ikaw! Hinihintay lang kita.’ Ayan finally po magkakatrabaho na kami.”
But will romance be possible between the two of them since they’re both single and they will be seeing each other a lot in tapings?
“Hindi po ako assuming na tao. Pero definitely, I’m looking forward to working with him,” she said.
She also added that Coco is one of the country’s best actors and she feels honored to work with him again.
“Isa po siya sa pinakamagaling na artista natin dito sa industriya. It’s such an honor.”
Shaina is one of the busiest actresses around. Aside from the said series, she is also seen Sundays in the musical variety show ASAP 18. She is also currently doing two movies - the Star Cinema movie with Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Enchong Dee and Toni Gonzaga, plus the action movie On The Job with Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson.
