Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera announced on Friday, April 26, 2013, that she has already left Popoy Caritativo’s Luminary Talent Management. Her showbiz career is now being managed by All Access to Artists, the talent management arm of Tony Tuviera’s APT Entertainment.
Popoy was Marian’s manager for so long, and while no negative issues have come out regarding them, the actress admitted their talent-manager relationship has not been productive anymore.
Although she didn’t reveal the exact cause of their falling out, she said that there have been misunderstandings between the two of them.
“Sabihin na lang nating may mga hindi pagkakaintindihan,” she said during the presscon held at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.
The revelation that Marian and Popoy has been experiencing misunderstandings without the press getting a hint somehow gave me a higher regard for the two. Despite being in the limelight, they know how to keep private matters to themselves.
Meanwhile, Marian considers Tony Tuviera as the one who discovered her. Her first acting projects on TV were produced for GMA-7 by APT and TAPE - Kung
Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako (2005); Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat (2005); and Pinakamamahal (2006).
And with Tony Tuviera being the producer of Eat Bulaga!, will we be seeing Marian Rivera soon on noontime?
The real question, however, is: with Marian’s contract with the Kapuso Network expiring in August, will she consider exploring her opportunities with other networks?
