Veteran actress Susan Roces is set to do another teleserye for ABS-CBN, and cameras will start rolling this summer.
She revealed the news during the all-star dinner hosted by movie producer Lily Monteverde for the senatorial bid of Grace Poe, the actress’ daughter.
We loved Susan in her role as Manang Henia in the phenomenal series Walang Hanggan. However, her appearance in a GMA-7 drama last Holy Week and being the first guest of child star Ryzza Mae Dizon in her morning talk show The Ryzza Mae Show would lead one to think that the 71-year-old widow of Fernando Poe Jr. would be transferring to the Kapuso Network.
But no, because as she revealed, she will be playing a challenging role in a three-generational drama for ABS-CBN. But is there still any role that she can consider challenging after over a hundred movies in her filmography?
Anyway, Susan refused to give further details about the project, but being a drama, it will surely have some of the network’s biggest stars in the cast.
