Aljur Abrenica stars as a macho dancer in the upcoming episode of Magpakailanman. The 23-year-old actor will portray the role of indie actor Kristoffer King who had to become a macho dancer and a high profile prostitute to support his son who was diagnosed with Hunter’s Syndrome.
During his past interviews, Aljur said he physically prepared for the role. He has already shown some skin in his past project Machete and in his current role in Indio, but playing a macho dancer is different because the role requires being sensual.
Anyway, it will not be as sexy as a real macho dancer movie because it’s on TV, but the episode titled ‘Bayarang Adonis: The Kristoffer King Story” will surely attract more audience than usual.
Aside from Aljur, also in the cast are Max Collins, Marc Justine Alvarez, Philip Lazaro and Joel Camacho. Maryo J. delos Reyes directed the episode from the script written by Paul Sta. Ana. Research was done by Vienuel Ello.
The episode will air this Saturday, April 27, after Vampire Ang Daddy Ko on GMA-7.
