The awarding ceremonies of the 15th Gawad Pasado was held on April 27, 2013 at the National Teachers College in Manila. It was presented by the Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro spearheaded by its president, Dr. Emmanuel Gonzales.
Thy Womb and El Presidente were big winners for both taking home seven awards Thy Womb’s awards included the top acting honors for its lead stars Nora Aunor and Bembol Roco, and a supporting acting award for Lovi Poe.
Jorge “ER” Estregan of El Presidente tied with Bembol and Eddie Garcia (Bwakaw) in the Pinakapasadong Aktor (best actor) category. His movie also got the supporting actor award for Cesar Montano who tied with Soxy Topacio (Bwakaw).
The Jun Lana-helmed critically-acclaimed movie Bwakaw got five awards which also included best editing for Lawrence Ang and best screenplay for Lana.
All three movies tied in the Pinakapasadong Pelikula (best picture) category.
