Blind auditions of ‘The Voice of the Philippines’ wrap up; Battle Rounds to begin in June

The blind auditions of The Voice of the Philippines wrapped up Thursday with all four coaches having chosen members for their respective teams.

Lea Salonga, who is one of the coaches, tweeted about it on Friday, minutes before she left the country for the U.S. She will be coming back to Manila in time for the show’s Battle Rounds.

“Blind auditions are all done, teams are formed. I am extremely pleased and excited! Go #TeamLea!!!” she posted on Twitter.

It also seemed like Bamboo was pleased with his team. On the same day, the rock star tweeted: “Good day world What can I say..Wow..wow Feeling pretty good with #TeamBAMBOO And I'll stop right there.”

Aside from Lea and Bamboo, other coaches include Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and Black Eyed Peas member Allan “apl.de.ap” Pineda.

The Voice Philippines will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga with Robi Domingo and Toni’s sister Alex Gonzaga as social media correspondents. It is one of Alex’s first projects after coming back to ABS-CBN.
