Ai-Ai de las Alas has confirmed the rumors that she and boyfriend Jed Salang got married in Las Vegas during their Holy Week vacation.
She confirmed the news on Tuesday, April 10, 2013, saying that she and Jed really had a civil wedding ceremony on April 3 in Las Vegas.
It was attended by her sons Sancho and Sean Nicolo, her daughter Sophia, the comedienne’s former husband (and father of her three kids) Miguel Vera, as well as some close friends.
Last week, the photo she posted on Instagram with the caption “Formal Dinner… happy day!” went viral along with the rumor of her wedding. The Pilipinas Got Talent judge, though, was asked by The Buzz about the wedding but refused to give a direct answer. It was announced, however, that she will make a big announcement on the said Sunday showbiz-oriented talk show this coming April 14 and many believe that it is about her tying the knot with Jed.
A church wedding will reportedly take place this December in Manila.
