Rafael Rosell is now a certified Kapuso artist. He signed an exclusive contract with GMA-7 yesterday, August 23, 2012.
Talks about Rafael’s transfer to the Kapuso network surfaced some two weeks ago, amidst the heavy monsoon rains. And yesterday, he officially became a Kapuso in the presence of GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon, Assistant Vice President for Drama Redgie Magno, and OIC for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable
The hunky actor has left ABS-CBN’s management arm Star Magic and is now being managed by Luminary Talent Management owned by Popoy Caritativo, who was also present in the contract signing. Luminary also manages the showbiz careers of Kapuso stars Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo, two of Rafael’s would-be co-stars in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of the hit Koreanovela Temptation of Wife. Alessandra de Rossi will also be in the cast.
Temptation of Wife was the main offer for Rafael in GMA-7, but he will first be seen in a guest role in the upcoming fantasy Aso Ni San Roque.
Another Kapamilya star who is said to become a Kapuso soon is Lauren Young. Talks about her transfer actually came about ahead of Rafael’s and we thought she would sign first.
