Nicki Minaj is joining the judging panel of American Idol!

US Weekly reported that the Superbass singer, who recently had a concert here in Manila, will fill one of the vacant seats of the hit singing reality show’s judging panel. This was after Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez left the show and the long-time judge Randy Jackson was said to be moved into a “mentoring role.”

Nicki will be joining Mariah Carey, whose inclusion in the show was confirmed last July.

As for the male judge, Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams are two of those being considered by AI.
