Marian Rivera will be doing something new soon – star in an action-thriller movie!
The Kapuso Primetime Queen who celebrated her 28th birthday a couple of Sundays ago will soon be one of the very few actresses who are brave enough to do action. And she will be doing her own stunts at that!

The said action-thriller will be produced by Agosto Dos, the production company of her real life boyfriend, Kapuso hunk Dingdong Dantes. When asked what the movie will be like, Dingdong gave reference to Angelina Jolie’s Salt.
So Marian will soon become Philippine cinema’s Angelina Jolie counterpart?
Dingdong said Marian is very able to do action films as evident in how she executed her fight scenes in the television series Darna and Amaya.
The team behind the upcoming horror movie, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles which is co-produced by Agosto Dos, will also do Marian’s action-thriller.

Tiktik was entirely shot on green screen, which means that the background and other effects were done using the latest computer technology. If Marian’s movie will be done the same way, that will add to our excitement to see the movie.
