Liezel Garcia releases her debut album, after years of waiting from being a finalist of the second season of Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA 2) in 2008.
Liezel has really gone far from being an OFW in Dubai, where she auditioned for the singing reality show. And between PDA 2 and her debut album under Star Records, Liezel’s voice was heard in teleserye theme songs, most of which are included in the album.
Titled Liezel Garcia, the album consists of nine songs that Liezel described as “a playlist of different love stories.” The carrier single is Ngayong Alam Ko Na, which is being used as the official soundtrack of the Koreanovela Two Wives that airs weekday mornings before the hit Be Careful With My Heart.
Other teleserye theme songs in the album are Walang Hanggan’s Wag Ka Lang Mawawala, a duet with real life boyfriend and PDA runner-up Bugoy Drilon; Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo’s Bakit Pa; Pure Love’s Gisingin Ang Puso; PHR Presents’ Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin; and Kristine’s Di Ko Kayang Limutin.
Liezel also revived Jaya Ramsey’s Wala Na Bang Pag-ibig and Marri Nallo’s Alipin Ako. The album also has Dance With Me as bonus track plus minus one of all the songs.
