Kantar Media National TV Ratings (June 26) - 'MLFTS' is most-watched Kapuso program

ABS-CBN programs occupied the top five spots of the national television ratings based on Kantar Media's data. It was headed by by the Anne Curtis-starrer, Dyesebel, with 30.6%, followed by Ikaw Lamang with 29.6%, TV Patrol with 28.4%, Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon with 22.7%, and Mirabella with 21.2%.

Meanwhile, the new series Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon are number four on both days, getting 19.6% and 19.9% respectively.

The top-rating and Twitter-trending singing-reality show “The Voice Kids” is set to conclude its Blind Auditions this weekend (June 21 and 22) with the three coaches choosing the last artist of their respective teams. So far, Team Sarah, Team Bamboo, and Team Lea have 15 artists each.

The last leg of the Blind Auditions have heartwarming moments featuring young artists who will try to woo the coaches to turn around for them, including an artist who will sing an Ilocano song and will model on stage with Lea and Sarah, a girl who will teach Bamboo and host Luis Manzano taekwondo lessons, a young opera singer, an artist who was raised by her grandmother, and a boy who will get a call from his dad in London to boost his confidence.

According to data from Kantar Media last Monday (June 16), “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” garnered more than double the ratings of its rival program on GMA “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” (10.4%).


On the same night, the series also conquered social networking sites where netizens flooded the timeline with positive tweets about Rose (Bea) and Patrick’s (Paulo Avelino) sensual “chocolate scene,” where they talked about the intricacies of making chocolates. This is the reason why Paulo and the hashtag #SBPAKWhenRoseMetPatrick quickly became worldwide trending topics in the popular microblogging site Twitter.

When asked to describe his character, he said, "I'm playing a kind of bad guy but it's more character-driven so the audience will take a journey on the life of this character even though it's somewhat dark," he told GMA News Online, adding that director Wincy Ong really pushed him to do the role which is out of his comfort zone.
