Wynn Andrada's father denied the reports that his son is in hiding after stabbing a friend.
Last week, news came out that the 19-year-old singer-songwriter is at large after wounding Matthew, his 17-year-old friend, inside their Makati home.
According to reports, Matthew went to Wynn's place around 10 PM on June 12 upon the request of the recording artist. While they were talking, however, Wynn suddenly stabbed Matthew.
In a taped inteview aired by The Buzz on Sunday, Wynn's father Manny Andrada said his own version of the story.
"Noong kumakain na siya [Wynn], may dumating na tao. Patay ang ilaw, e. Dumating tapos nagsalita pa nga, 'Amoy matanda naman dito!' Tinawag ko si Wynn. Di sumagot. 'Wynn!' ulit ako, pasigaw na 'yun. Tapos wala na, parang nanggulo na. Dumating 'yung bodyguard ko para rumescue," the father said.
He also said that it was the bodyguard who stabbed the 17-year-old, but added that not even the bodyguard, nor Wynn, is being hunted by the police because there are no complaints against them.
"Paano hahanapin, e, wala namang reklamo. Pati nga 'yung d'yaryo nilabas na hina-hunting daw si Wynn. Paano mo ha-hunting-in? That can't be true," he said.
Meanwhile, the Sunday talk show was also able to interview the victim, who related what happened.
"Sabi niya [Wynn], 'Pre punta tayo kina Aira.' Pagpunta ko po, kinatok ko. Sabi ko, 'Pre, ano? Tara alis na tayo!' Sabi niya, 'Maya-maya na, may pag-uusapan muna tayo saglit. Pagpasok po, nagulat ako, sinaksak na lang niya ako," he said.
He also said that he doesn't know of any reason why the Star Records artist would stab him, but added that the singer could be suffering from mental illness.
"May diperensiya raw po siya sa ulo. Kapag mag-isa raw siya, kung anu-ano daw naiisip niya," the victim said.
On the claim of Wynn's father that it was the bodyguard who stabbed him, Matthew said, "Wala naman po siyang bodyguard sa loob ng bahay. Kaming tatlo lang."
The victim's lawyer, however, admitted the fact that they have not pressed any charges yet because they are still finalizing which complaints to file.
