MMFF 2014 Official Entries Named - 'Feng Shui 2' and 'Praybeyt Benjamin 2' make the cut

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced on Saturday the eight official entries to the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

The two shortlisted entries of Star Cinema made it to the cut - the sequels of Feng Shui and Praybeyt Benjamin.

Kris Aquino, who stars in Feng Shui 2 together with Coco Martin, will rival the movie starred in by her son Bimby Yap - Praybeyt Benjamin 2 led by Vice Ganda. The mother and son  were in the same entry last year with Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon. Vic and Ryzza are still together this year in My Big Bossing's Adventures.

Whistle-blower starring Nora Aunor and Cherry Pie Picache did not make it as an official entry, as well as Bonggangster starring BB Gandanghari, Kid Kulafu starring Cesar Montano and Alessandra De Rossi, Above the Clouds starring Ruru Madrid and Pepe Smith, and Kung ang Hanap Mo ay Ligaya sa Buhay starring Boots Anson Roa and Snooky Serna.
