"Pinoy Big Brother All In" host Toni Gonzaga revealed she was at one point worried that her sister Alex Gonzaga will be attracted to Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga inside the PBB House.
Alex has become one of the hosts of the reality show this season and Big Brother decided to make her a house guest first to make her experience what living inside the famous house is like. Aside from Toni (who also became a house guest in 2007), all the other hosts of the show are ex-housemates.
However, Toni's worries about her sister falling in love went away when she saw that her younger sister is not attracted to the hunky model.
"Kasi siyempre gwapo, eh single pa. Single si Alex. Eh nakita ko di niya pinapansin, panalo," she said, as quoted by ABS-CBN News, after the launch of her album "Celestine" on Tuesday.
The Multimedia Star also explained why she doesn't want Alex to fall in love while inside the "house."
"Kasi kapag na-in love (sa loob) ipi-play up ng 'PBB,' ifo-focus, gagawa ng date. Siyempre kapag ginawan mo ng ganoon na malayo sa magulang, malayo sa lahat, akala niya 'yun na ang totoong feeling. Dito nga lang sa labas akala niya totoo na ang isang feeling ng tao, paano pa sa isang environment na sila lang," she said.
But she noted that her sister has now matured a lot.
"Thankful ako sa whole experience niya na ito. Of course, she matured a lot, she has grown. Nakita natin na kapag mali siya, marunong siyang mag-sorry. Kino-confront niya yung mga tao.I am very proud of her doon sa aspeto na 'yon kasi ganoon siya talaga sa totoong buhay," she said.
Toni also revealed that it's their first time to be separated without any communication. She somehow felt sad when Alex decided to stay in the house for another week, but she knows the reason why.
"Alam ko kaya niya gusto 'yon - walang rules, far from our rules, far from curfew. Lalo sa akin," she said.
Alex will be going out of the house during the eviction night on Saturday, together with the housemates who will not survive this week's "all out" challenges.
