ABS-CBN’s newest primetime romantic drama series Pure Love ruled its time slot and Twitter’s list of worldwide trending topics on its premiere telecast last Monday (July 7). Based on data from Kantar Media, the Alex Gonzaga and Yen Santos-starrer scored a national TV rating of 19.5% or nine points higher than its rival program on GMA, My BFF, that only got 10.7%.

The full trailer of the upcoming action-drama series Dugong Buhay has been released by ABS-CBN. It stars Ejay Falcon, Jed Montero, Arjo Atayde and Yam Concepcion. The series is based in Carlo J. Caparas’ 1983 movie with the same title.

The series is set to air April 8th in Kapamilya Gold, the network’s afternoon block. It will replace Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Paraiso which ends April 5th.
