'A Hard Day' starring Dingdong Dantes, John Arcilla - Poster and Trailer

Dingdong Dantes and John Arcilla topbill A Hard Day, the only action movie entry in Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year. It was originally intended for the first Metro Manila Summer Film Festival in 2020 but the event was cancelled due to the pandemic. Now more than a year after, the movie is named as one of the official eight entries of the MMFF 2021.

A Hard Day is the Filipino remake of the 2014 South Korean action-thriller of the same title. Directed by Law Fajardo for VIVA Films, the  movie also stars Janno Gibbs, Al Tantay, Meg Imperial, Rafa Siguion-Reyna, Lou Veloso, Arvic Tan and AJ Muhlach.

'Heneral Luna' breaches P200M mark

The producers of the historical biopic "Heneral Luna" took to Facebook Saturday to announce that the movie has crossed the P200 million mark on its 4th week of showing.

In a message posted on the movie's Facebook Page, producer Fernando Ortigas and screenwriter-producer Eduardo A. Rocha also thanked those who made it possible for the movie to earn as much.

'Heneral Luna' chosen as Philippine entry to 2016 Oscars

Currently showing in Philippine cinemas, "Heneral Luna" has been chosen as the country's official entry to the 2016 Oscars.

Directed by Jerrold Tarog, the movie is a historical biopic set during the Philippine-American war. It tells the story of Gen. Antonio Luna - from the time he was assigned as the head of the revolutionary army up to his assassination.

'Pure Love' starring Alex Gonzaga - Trailer

ABS-CBN has released the first trailer for Pure Love, an upcoming television series starring Alex Gonzaga and Yen Santos. The series is an adaptation of the Korean series 49 Days which was aired in Tagalog-dubbed version on the Kapamilya Network in 2011.

The nominees for the 16th annual Möet British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) has been revealed and a movie about a life in Metro Manila gets five nominations out of eighteen categories.
