"Goin' Bulilit" spoofs "Pangako Sa 'Yo"

It looks like a new love team is on the rise. “Goin’ Bulilit’s” Bugoy Carino and Casey Da Silva are stepping up their game to fill in the shoes of teen king and queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo in their own version of the hit remake of “Pangako Sa’Yo” for “Goin’ Bulilit’s” episode this Sunday (June 28).

In the latest episode of the kiddie gag show, Bugoy and Casey transform as “Mini Me” versions of Yna Macaspac (Kathryn Bernardo) and Angelo Buenavista (Daniel Padilla), the young star-crossed lovers whose love story has captivated Filipinos across all generations. “Goin’ Bulilit” breathes in a new life into “Pangako Sa’Yo” with a funny twist and reenacts popular scenes from the hit teleserye by adding a “Bulilit” touch.

'Soap Opera' - Poster and Trailer (2014 Cinema One Originals Festival)

'Wansapanataym' airs back-to-back Halloween episodes

ABS-CBN’s award-winning fantasy-drama anthology “Wansapanataym” will treat TV viewers with back-to-back Halloween special episodes this weekend (November 1 and 2).

In the episode ‘OMG: Oh My Ghost,’ which will air on All Saints’ Day, Kapamilya star Ejay Falcon will play the role of Homer, a young man who is unfaithful to his girlfriend Trina (Empress). Because of his infidelity, Homer becomes haunted by a Claire (Lara Quigaman), the soul of a woman whose heart was once broken by a man she loved dearly. ‘OMG: Oh My Ghost’ also stars Matthew Mendoza, Bea Basa, Noel Colet, Tado Jimenez, Bryan Santos, and Vangie Martelle. It is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Avel Sunpongco.

Asean International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA) winners - Alessandra de Rossi is Best Actress

The Philippines was a big winner at the first Asean International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA), winning four out of its seven nominations.

Three trophies went to the independent film Sta. Niña including Best Picture (Drama), Best Actress for Alessandra de Rossi, and Best Supporting Actress for the veteran Anita Linda.

“E-Boy” Wins National TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s top-rating Primetime Bida family drama series E-Boy continues to soar high in the national TV ratings as it keeps TV viewers hooked with the exciting adventures of its lead character E-Boy played by Bugoy Cariño.

According to the latest data from Kantar Media, E-Boy reigned not only on its timeslot but also ranked second in the list of overall top programs nationwide after Walang Hanggan. It garnered a national TV rating of 29.1% as compared to the 18.6% of rival program Biritera from GMA-7.

Pilot episode of "E-Boy" tops nationwide ratings

The pilot episode of ABS-CBN's E-Boy which stars Bugoy Cariño topped the survey done by Kantar Media-TNS among national households last Monday, January 30, 2012. It got a total of 28.1% and became an immediate favorite among televiewers.


The series airs after TV Patrol replacing in its timeslot Ikaw ay Pag-ibig which also topped the national ratings with its farewell episode last Friday, January 27.
