ABS-CBN brings a new character to primetime television this coming 2012, and its in the form of a robot.
Titled E-Boy, the story is about a robot child that longs to be a normal kid. More than that, he longs to be loved and to have a family that would care for him.
The character of the robot child will be played by Bugoy Cariño. It is such a big break for him that will put him alongside the Kapamilya child actors like Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Louise Abuel and Mutya Orquia.
The trailer shows a hooded child coming out of a chest. He walks like a real person and has normal hands, but when he took off the hood of his jacket off, it shows a head of a robot.
I'm sure this will be another drama that will touch the hearts of the viewers, just like the other dramas from the Kapamilya network that we all loved.
Set to pilot this January, I wonder if E-Boy will be the one to replace the Christmas series, Ikaw ay Pag-ibig, in its timeslot. As we all know, Walang Hanggan is going to be released January 16th. I wonder which of the two will be released first, and which other primetime series is coming to an end.
