KFC Releases a Very Heartwarming Christmas TVC

KFC Philippines has released a new Christmas television commercial with call center agents as subject. TVCs such as this never fail to put a lump in my throat.

I was clueless as to where the story would lead when I watched it for the first time - a KFC call center agent answers a call on Christmas Eve, takes the caller's order, and asks if the food would be sent to the same address.

My heart melted when the caller said the bill goes to the same address but the food should be delivered to the agent's office, to someone named Niño Reyes (which is the agent's name).

The caller is the agent's mom who called the KFC hotline just to be able to greet her son who is working on Christmas Eve, and to be able to give him food for his Noche Buena since he couldn't join his family at the house.
