Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling star in the upcoming drama, The Lucky One, which is set to hit Philippine theaters on April 19, 2012.
Warner Bros. Pictures Philippines recently released the trailer for The Lucky One which is about "a Marine who traveled to North Carolina after serving three tours in Iraq and searched for the unknown woman he believed was his good luck charm during the war."
Directed by Scott Hicks, the movie is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel of the same title, from the screenplay written by Will Fetters.
Synopsis:
U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn't even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
