The 24th Awit Awards (2011) was held on December 12th at the Music Museum. Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1 winner Jovit Baldivino brought home 2 awards including the Best Selling Album of the Year and Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist awards.
Parokya ni Edgar was also a big winner. The pop rock band won Song of the Year, Best Performance by a Group of Recording Artists, and Best Ballad.
