Here's another video of the call center agent named Shan Cruz Rivera who has been getting negative comments for making fun of his callers. (Click here to see the first video.)
On this second video, Rivera introduced himself as "Lady Gaga" after asking the name of the caller. He then proceeded speaking in Spanish so fast. He seemed to be reading the words from his monitor judging by the movement of his eyes.
The caller said he doesn't speak in Spanish but "Lady Gaga" said that he is actually speaking in English.
A lot of people from the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) community here in the Philippines are calling Rivera a "call center disgrace." More than that, they are afraid that these videos will affect the image of the BPO industry in the country.
The gay community also feels sad about what Rivera has done. The negative comments he has been getting, especially on the social networking sites, almost always include the word "gay" or "bakla." Some even connects his sexual orientation with the shameful act that he proudly recorded on video.
With that, Shan Cruz Rivera is not only a disgrace to the call center community but to the LGBT community as well.
