Benjo Benaldo denies suicide attempt
Benjo Benaldo denied reports that the shooting incident in his Batasan office that left him with a gunshot wound on the chest was a suicide attempt.
During his first interview after the incident, the former Cagayan de Oro congressman told ANC that it was “pure accident.”

Daiana Menezes’s husband now okay after shooting self
Outgoing Cagayan de Oro Rep. Benjo Benaldo is now okay after being rushed to the hospital Thursday night due to gunshot wound in the chest.
According to reports, a gunshot was heard in his office and he was found bleeding by the staff that rushed to his room on the fifth floor of the Batasan Pambansa complex’s south wing.

Brazilian model Daiana Menezes made a series of controversial posts on Instagram beginning Sunday, June 9, 2013, that would lead one to conclude that she’s physically abused.
Although no names had been dropped, her posts include photos saying “No To Rape,” “No To Violence Against Women,” “Real Men Don’t Use Violence” and “Stop Violence Against Women.”
