It was a healthy baby girl to the Kapamilya stars who both started out as "housemates" in the hit reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
On Instagram, Star Magic revealed the news by posting a photo of Cantiveros and Francisco with the caption: "Congratulations @melaimomaginsta ang #JasonFrancisco It's a GIRL."
Francisco, meanwhile, immediately posted on his Instagram account a photo of their newborn with the hashtag #melasonBABY.
"Hi Philippines & Universe heres our first family picture (: #melasonBABY #atlast #ThankGOD #Godbless all babies #SooooooHAPPYnow Thank you to all the doctors (: Specially Dra. Pinky Layog & Dra. Dazo Dr.Micabalo & nurses & St.Elizabeth Hospital . To God All the Glory," he said in the caption.
The couple revealed September last year that Melai was conceiving their baby. They tied the knot last December while the comedienne was around five months pregnant.
