Tanfelix started in "StarStruck Kids" in 2004. He ended as just the runner-up but he was given acting projects by GMA-7 since then, the first one being a half-human, half-bird named Pagaspas in "Mulawin."
More acting projects followed and a potential was seen in the now 15-year-old handsome young man whose eyes elicit giggles from teenage girls.
He will be paired in the series with Bianca Umali, who wowed televiewers with her dramatic skills in "Mga Basang Sisiw." The two look good together in pictures, with their dusky features complimenting each other.
"Niño" is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes, and also has David Remo, Julian Trono, Katrina Halili, Niel Ryan Sese, Luz Valdez and Gloria Romero in the cast.
