Barbie Forteza and Thea Tolentino are 'The Half Sisters'

GMA-7 is cooking a new series that will soon invade afternoon television - "The Half Sisters." It will be topbilled by Barbie Forteza and "Protege" winner Thea Tolentino.

Forteza's last lead role was in the 2013 remake of "Anna Karenina." She is currently in the cast of the sitcom "Vampire Ang Daddy Ko" and will also be seen in the upcoming "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real."

Tolentino, meanwhile, last starred in the afternoon fantasy series, "Pyra: Ang Babaeng Apoy," and is currently a kontrabida in the primetime series, "Kambal Sirena."

"The Half Sisters" will also bring back the love team of Forteza and Derrick Monasterio (DerBie) in a full series.

"Diary Ng Panget" star Andre Paras and Jean Garcia are also in the cast.
