Xian Lim believes in proper timing, wishes Kim Chiu happiness for her birthday

During a recent event for Pond's Men of which he endorses, Xian Lim said he is "single and ready to mingle." The remark brought about speculations that his rumored romance with love team Kim Chiu is no more, or worse, just for publicity.

Lim was asked regarding the said comment by ABS-CBN North America News Bureau. He and Chiu are currently in the U.S. for some shows and to celebrate Chiu's 24th birthday on April 19.

According to the actor, they just want to keep things private and they believe in proper timing.

"We are just going to be thankful sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa amin," he said. "Maraming, maraming salamat. What we always say is we keep whatever we have private and in God’s time, there’s always a proper timing for everything."

As for his birthday wish for Chiu, he said he wants her to be always happy.

"I hope na parati siyang maging masaya. Kahit anong mangyari, always remember na everyone is here for you, people are here for you," he said.
