'Da Possessed' earns P17-M on opening day

Star Cinema's Da Possessed reportedly earned P17-million on opening day alone. The good  news was revealed on Instagram by Mico Del Rosario, the film production company's advertising and promotion manager, on Sunday.


Starring Vhong Navarro and Solenn Heussaff, the horror-comedy movie opened in cinemas on Black Saturday, April 19, 2014.

The story revolves around Ramon (Navarro) who gets possessed by spirits from another dimension played by Empoy, Aaliyah Belmoro and John Lapus.

Solenn Heussaff plays the role of Anna, Ramon's boss who he falls in love with.

Also in the cast are Joey Marquez, Beverly Salviejo, Joy Viado, Smokey Manaloto, Lito Pimentel and Matet De Leon.
