Tado's wife Lei Jimenez still struggling to get family's life back on track

Two months after comedian and political activist Arvin “Tado” Jimenez died in a bus accident on his way to Bontoc, Mountain Province, wife Lei Jimenez confesses that she is still struggling to get her family’s life back on track.

“I don’t know how to start again. Every time I wake up, I feel a weight on my chest,” she says in “Tapatan Ni Tunying” airing this Thursday (April 10).

Lei holds on to her daughters to avoid breaking down. Tado’s untimely death left Lei to solely take care of all four of their kids.

“Whenever I call them and when I feel lonely, they come to me. We hug each other. They sob, but they don’t cry as hard as I do,” Lei reveals.

Lei is also focused on pursuing the case against GV Florida Bus and its driver, who might be facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide and physical injuries. Has she lost hope for justice?

Meanwhile, in a separate interview, “healing priest” Father Fernando Suarez defends himself against detractors including some members of the church who criticize his alleged lavish lifestyle and misuse of the funds of the Mary Mother of the Poor Foundation.

Fr. Suarez claims in the episode that he is “rich,” but denies that he appropriates the foundation’s funds for personal use.

“I am rich because I have lots of friends. I have a home wherever I go. I don’t walk because when people see me, they offer me a ride. In that case, I am rich,” he explains.
