'Da Possessed' earns P40-M in 3 days

"Da Possessed" starring Vhong Navarro and Solenn Heussaff earned P40 million in just three days of showing.

According to an Instagram post of Mico Del Rosario, Star Cinema's advertising and promotions manager, the horror-comedy has already hit the P40-M mark and is now showing in 150 cinemas nationwide.

"Congratulations Team #Dapossessed! P40M+ in three days!!! Now showing in 150 cinemas nationwide!!" he wrote on Tuesday.

Directed by Joyce Bernal, the movie opened in cinemas on Black Saturday, April 19, 2014.

The story revolves around Ramon (Navarro) who gets possessed by spirits from another dimension played by Empoy, Aaliyah Belmoro and John Lapus.

Heussaff plays the role of Anna, Ramon's boss who he falls in love with.

Also in the cast are Joey Marquez, Beverly Salviejo, Joy Viado, Smokey Manaloto, Lito Pimentel and Matet De Leon.
