Cedric Lee, Simeon Raz arrested

Cedric Lee and Simeon Raz were arrested Saturday morning in Eastern Samar. The two were among the accused in the controversial Vhong Navarro mauling incident last January.

Lee and Raz were found in a remote area in the town of Oras and were arrested 11:15 AM of April 26.

On April 16, the two were charged with grave coercion along with model Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee's sister Bernice, Jed Fernandez, Jose Paolo Calma and Ferdinand Guerrero. It was in relation to the complaint filed by Navarro regarding his controversial mauling inside a condo unit in Taguig on January 22.

Cornejo and Fernandez posted bail of P12,000 each on the same day.

On April 21, the Taguig Regional Trial Court issued non-bailable warrants of arrest for serious illegal detention against Cedric Lee, Raz, Fernandez, Guerrero, and Cornejo.

According to reports, Lee had booked an April 12 flight to Dubai but cancelled it when information about the flight leaked.

On April 14, Guerrero was stopped by immigration officers when he attempted to go to Hong Kong.

Calma, however, was successful in leaving the Philippines. He was able to fly out of the country on April 10 despite his name being on the lookout bulletin.
