Kris Aquino was rushed to the hospital while taping for her morning show, "Kris TV" on Tuesday.
The Queen of All Media asked to be brought to the Makati Medical Center when got so dizzy during an outdoor shoot.
"Nahilo ako. As in, major pagkahilo while taping in Intramuros... First time ko ma-experience 'yung ganoong level of pagkahilo talaga," she said during the live airing of "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" later that day, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.
The extreme afternoon heat while she was taking a guided tour of Intramuros caused her condition that she was advised by her doctor to stay indoors between 1 PM and 4 PM, as it is reportedly the hottest part of the day.
"By about 4:15, talagang umikot na ['yung paningin ko]. I had cold sweat, extreme headache, body ache and all, so nagpadala na ako sa ospital," Aquino said.
Her electrolytes dropped due to the heat.
"I was dehydrated, bumagsak lahat ng electrolytes ko. I'm anemic. I had my blood works done... I think that's the red blood cell count and the hemoglobin count was very low. Pero iyon, hereditary 'yon. Pero 'yun lack of electrolytes, I guess it was the heat," she said.
A few hours after the evening talk show, she took to Instagram to post a photo of packages of Gatorade that HB (Herbert Bautista) sent her.
"I got home & saw all the Gatorade waiting for me. Thank You HB! (Sorry I broke my rule about not mentioning him in my IG account. ️) We're not a "couple" but we are the BEST OF FRIENDS. And in this uncertain world, we're sure to be FRIENDS FOR LIFE. That's actually what we started as, it's where we are most comfortable being, and for whatever tomorrow may still bring, true & lasting friendship is always the best foundation... May I quote my favorite song? "Thanks to you for teaching me how to live, putting things in perspective. Teaching me how to give, and how to take, no mistake..."
