The "It's Showtime" host couldn't help but cry on national television over the good news while thanking his family, friends and supporters for their prayers and support.
Meanwhile, Cornejo took to Facebook to express how she feels regarding the dismissal of her rape complaint.
"It will take a worse challenge for me to be a hero. you maybe powerful but GOD is more powerful. hindi ito palakasan o pasikatan. huwag linalangin ang mga tao sa edited na CCTV ang paghintay sa elevator ay aabutin na ng ilang minuto. ikaw na ang pinerwisyo at inabuso ikaw pa ang sisirain at kakasuhan. hindi ikaw ang tao magpapahina sakin. SHOW ME JUSTICE IN THE PHILIPPINES!" Cornejo posted.
Aside from Cornejo's rape complaint, the DOJ also dismissed the defense of Cedric Lee's group that the money they demanded from the actor was for the damages in Cornejo's condo unit.
