Comedian and Eat Bulaga! co-host Wally Bayola has not been seen on television after his video scandal with Yosh, a dancer on the noontime show, surfaced online.
It was the management who decided to let him rest for a while, but until when, we could only guess.
Vic Sotto, one of the original hosts of the 34-year-old program, was asked about the issue while promoting his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie, My Little Bossings, on Kris TV. The morning show’s host, Kris Aquino, and her son Bimby are also in the cast of the comedy film together with Ryzza Mae Dizon and Jose Manalo.
“I have nothing to do with that,” Vic said when asked if it’s their decision to let Wally rest for a while. “I think it’s management’s decision.”
But can he request to bring Wally back on Eat Bulaga! after a few more months?
“Yeah, I can. For me kasi personally okay lang naman, e, but he has to apologize. I think people will understand, and alam mo naman mapagpatawad ang mga Pilipino,” he said.
Wally should really issue an apology for the video scandal. He’s part of a wholesome noontime show and somehow, Eat Bulaga!’s image was tarnished with the circulation of the said video, more especially because he was seen in it with a dancer who’s also from the show.
It would have been a little okay if they were a couple or if they are both unattached. Wally, however, is married and has kids.
